BluTek Defects Manager: a cornerstone of good housing
stock development
BluTek’s Defects Manager software is purpose designed to simplify the process of housing stock development. It effectively automates the identification, notification and tracking of housing stock defects. All information is held centrally on a secure web server, and is presented to authorised personnel clearly and unambiguously, via a single web page that is specific to a particular housing project.
Defects Manager enables organisations to:
- Report defects and have them allocated automatically to the appropriate contractor
- Notify appropriate contractors of issues that need to be addressed, via an automated email alert system
- Provide contractors with access to their specific file within the centralised defects record database, allowing them to update its status
- Obtain contractors’ key performance indicators (KPIs) with ease by utilising the software’s audit trail
- Automatically pass all reported defects for rental stock to their housing management system at the end of the defects period
System requirements
BluTek’s Defects Manager software runs under Windows® on any industry-standard PC with internet access. For optimum performance, the recommended configuration is Windows 7, Internet Explorer 8, 2GB of RAM and broadband internet access. The standard Defects Manager package includes off-site secure server hosting and daily data backup.
